As young holiday goers, we loved the friendly and social atmosphere at this place. the owners were always around and made us feel right at home. the proximity to the local beach, Isla Mujeres ferry, and public transport was very convenient. the hostel had a kitchen and cooking facilities, as well as hot showers and plenty of bathrooms.
Felt like a home away from home, no complaints at all.

I had an amazing stay during Easter at this hotel. The first thing I loved was the cleanliness, everything was spotless! The second was the location, it was perfect. I was able to easily visit nearby attractions and the ferry to the beautiful island was just a short distance away. And the best part? The hotel had a kitchen with all the necessary amenities, so I could cook my own meals whenever I wanted. It was so convenient and saved me a lot of money.
There were a few things that could be improved. there was a loud humming machine nearby that was a bit bothersome, but thankfully, earplugs helped.

Stayed here for New Year's and had a blast! the staff were incredibly kind and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. They even helped us book a taxi and exchanged our money for us. the hostel had a clean kitchen and a lovely swimming pool area, plus the location was perfect - close to the ferry and in a quiet area. Definitely a budget-friendly option!
Plus, they provided fans and let us choose our beds, so we could be near the cool air. Another minor issue was the occasional lack of hot water in the showers, but considering the helpful staff and the amazing atmosphere of the hostel, it was a small price to pay.

During my Christmas stay at this hotel, I was pleased with a couple of standout features. the owner of the hotel was incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any requests or questions. the location of the hotel was ideal, as it provided easy access to a beautiful beach and a ferry to a nearby island. I appreciated the peaceful and relaxed atmosphere of the hotel, allowing me to unwind and enjoy the surrounding nature.
There were a few aspects of the hotel that I found less than satisfactory. there was a constant humming noise coming from a nearby machine, which was a bit annoying.

I recently stayed at a cozy hostel in Punta Sam for a week. The owners were incredibly attentive and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. With guests from all over the world, socializing was easy. Being just a 5-minute walk from the beach was a major plus, and the hostel's kitchen provided ample space for storing and cooking food. Hot water in the downstairs shower and multiple bathrooms meant no waiting. Plus, the power outage after the hurricane didn't deter the resourceful Basil, who made sure we had intermittent internet and electricity throughout our stay.
Would recommend this hotel.

The owners of the hotel were incredibly friendly and attentive, always around to help out and make sure guests were comfortable. The hotel had a great social atmosphere, with guests from all over the world. It was easy to make friends and interact with other travelers.- The hotel was conveniently located just a short walk to the beach, making it easy to enjoy the sun and surf.- The presence of a kitchen downstairs and in the dorm was a big advantage, offering enough space to store food and cook meals.- The availability of hot water in the shower downstairs was a definite plus. the hotel had enough bathrooms to prevent any waiting or queuing.
The lack of a proper food store nearby. Although there was a gas station within walking distance, it did not offer a wide variety of food items for cooking meals.

I had initially planned for a short two-night stay but ended up extending it to 10 nights because I loved it so much. the owner, Basil, was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure that my needs were taken care of. I met some amazing people during my stay and they quickly became friends. it's a calm and relaxed place, close to the beach and surrounded by beautiful nature. I enjoyed sitting outside in the mornings and listening to the birds. Plus, it's very convenient to take the ferry to Isla Mujeres and explore the surrounding areas. Getting to downtown is a breeze with the frequent and affordable collectivos.
No negatives from this place. 😊.

I recently stayed at a lovely hostel in a serene location near Cancun. My purpose was to relax and enjoy the beach, which was just a short walk away. The staff was incredibly friendly and made sure I had a comfortable stay. Despite a temporary power outage, they worked diligently to restore power and internet access. The hostel itself had a pool and clean rooms, and I appreciated being able to choose my bed and have a towel for showers. I also met interesting people and enjoyed late-night conversations. the hostel felt like a home away from home.
Would recommend this hotel.

During my stay over Christmas, I really enjoyed the hospitality and value of this hostel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and they even helped me arrange a fantastic tour. The hostel was clean and had a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen facilities were great. The location was perfect, offering easy access to transportation and the beach. there was a pool available for guests to enjoy, which was a nice bonus.
One downside to my stay was the ongoing construction in the building, which could be noisy. Another negative aspect was the lack of air conditioning in the rooms, which made it a bit uncomfortable at times.
